06/18/06 - Father's day and Mazaryk's first bow

Today I got some great cards from Tamara and Mazaryk, and they also made me a great shirt with Mazaryk's handprints on it. It says "World's Greatest Dad, Hands Down with the DAD written in binary. I had a great Father's day and got to spend a lot of good quality time with my wonderful family!



We saw Grampy McGuire and Grandpa Nankivel to wish them a happy Father's day. They liked their gifts and cards. Happy father's day to all the dad's we didn't see today, including Thor, Aaron, and Andrew.

When we went to see Grandpa Nankivel, he gave Mazaryk his first bow and arrow. Uncle Zack started shooting when he was about 1 1/2 years old, so it's about time for Mazaryk. He was really excited, and we had a lot of fun shooting together! Grandma helped keep Mazaryk safe and he liked handing Grandpa and me arrows when it was our turn to shoot. Zack and I had a contest and he won fair and square. I guess old age is taking it's toll on me! :-)
