Family update

Tamara and Draven are both doing very well. It kills me to see Tamara in pain while recovering from the surgery so I do my best to be there for her and make her as comfortable as possible.

Wednesday we took Draven and Mazaryk to the pediatrician's office. Draven got a checkup and Mazaryk got some shots (he just loves those things! ;-) Draven was up to 6 lbs. 12 oz. which is great! He was born at 7 lbs. 4 oz., but lost weight initially and went down to 6 lbs. 8 oz. and was back up at 6 lbs. 10 oz. when we left the hospital on Sunday. They also checked Draven for Jaundice and saw no signs, and overall there are no concerns whatsoever. He passed his hearing tests in the hospital which we were worried about because Mazaryk had failed his.

Mazaryk is being a great big brother. When Draven cries there are times where Mazaryk will run over and pat his head gently and say, "You're OK, You're OK" in a soothing tone. It's so cute!
